Do the advantages of using the Internet for teaching outweigh its disadvantages? What do you think?
It's a wonderful resource. I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. The main potential is that it promotes communication and collaboration, even among complete strangers. Imagine sitting in the comfort of your home and interacting with someone in a far away land. It broadens your perspective.
ReplyDeleteEven though there are some disadvantages to having too much technology in our classrooms, internet is a source that helps us as teachers incredibly!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. As teachers, we have to find the way to integrate technology in our classrooms so our students become engaged in learning. There are many resources on the web that can help us and make our job a little easier.
